Job Purpose

A reputed Retail Organization in Dubai is seeking a motivated IT Officer with the focus on Cyber Security, to manage the research and analysis of cyber security aspects and in leveraging the AI methodologies of the organization. The successful candidate will work on advanced security solutions collaborating with internal stakeholders.

This is part of Emiratization role and preference will be for UAE Nationals.

Job Responsibilities

• As the IT Officer – Cyber Security, you will be responsible for assessing the security and rick factors and providing insights and recommendations for improvements and for mitigating the processes.
• Conduct research on cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and AI-driven security solutions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate AI models for cybersecurity applications.
• Ensure risk analysis and other research are conducted in the timely manner as per the guided timelines and present the reports and information to the concerned.
• Perform data collection, preprocessing, and analysis to support research objectives.
• Present the cyber security research studies to the management and propose solutions for any foreseen threats.
• Maintain proper documentation for all the analysis and upload details to the system for better visibility for the internal collaborating teams.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant (internal and external) regulations including QHSE requirements and company’s policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of the information and collaborate with the parties concerned for further analysis and research if needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional – CISSP
• Knowledge in programming skills in Python, R, Java, or C++.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and threat detection.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with deep learning techniques for cybersecurity applications.
• Previous experience in securing AI models against adversarial attacks and cryptographic techniques.
