Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Auditor to assess the organization’s internal controls, risk management practices, and governance processes. The Internal Auditor will perform audits across departments, identify weaknesses or inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to ensure compliance, accuracy, and operational integrity.

Preference for UAE Nationals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial, operational, compliance, and information system audits across business units.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control processes and suggest improvements if necessary.
  • Prepare clear and concise audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure audits are performed in accordance with internal audit standards, as per the timelines and company policies.
  • Ensure audits trails and documentations are in place and follow up with departments if necessary.
  • Follow up on past audit findings to ensure appropriate remediation actions are implemented and the non-conformities are closed or resolved. 
  • Collaborate with external auditors and assist the departments with the schedules and the processes for regulatory inspections when necessary.
  • Be the first point of contact for the internal stakeholders for the matters related to internal audit.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, best practices, and internal audit standards.
  • Assist in the development of the annual audit plan based on risk assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA, or CISA preferred.
  • 2–5 years of internal or external audit experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal control frameworks.
  • Proficient in audit software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and integrity
