Assistant Manager – HR & Administration
The position is required for a Construction Company, supporting and reporting to the Head of HR & Administration,
Key Responsibilities
- Manpower planning, recruitment, selection and onboarding of Staff & Non-Staff
- Developing effective sources of recruitment i.e. Access to Job Portals, inhouse CV database etc. to source and provide shortlist of suitable candidates against manpower requisitions.
- Coordinating with Recruitment Agencies/VISA Partner/PRO team for completing end to end process and onboarding of non-staff from inside and outside the Country.
- Coordinating with PRO department of Company as well as VISA partner for ensuring availability of VISA quota, completing VISA applications, payments, receipt of VISA, coordinating with candidates/agencies for timely arrival within the validity date of Entry Permit
- Maintaining of track of all candidates for whom recruitment is in progress from receipt of shortlist, initial documents, VISA Application, receipt of VISA and till joining on the system and updating the same and providing period status reports.
- Periodic reconciliation of payments released to VISA partner with VISA receipt and other cases.
- Coordinating with VISA Partner/Company PRO department/Payroll Department for enrolling in Company employee database, completion of Medical, EID Application, Biometric, receipt of EID and Stamping of VISA
- Getting acquainted with the HR ERP/HRIS system, Employee Database management including adding new employees and payroll details, updating the same, maintaining staff attendance & Leave records and completing monthly payroll process and disbursement through WPS, so as to work as back up in case the primary employee responsible for the same is absent or on leave.
- Assisting in maintaining Organization Structures and Job Descriptions
- Assisting in developing and implementing HR Policy, Procedures and Formats/documents.
- Assisting in Performance Management and Learning and Development initiatives
- Assisting in Staff and Non-Staff Welfare initiatives • Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Masters Degree in HRD. SHRM-SCP or CIPD qualifications will be an added advantage
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in HR including 3 years’ experience in managing Blue collared recruitment in UAE
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Experience of ERP implementation will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of UAE Labor law and ability to draft HR policy and procedures
